Client Success Stories – Nestor’s Adventures

Nestor’s Adventures blends an adorable dog with educational themes to create the perfect line of books and apps for kids. The book series will follow Nestor as he learns about the states that he visits – the first book in the series, “Nestor’s Adventures: I Like Colorado!”, was recently published through Amazon. The website features tons of information for children and parents alike, including easy and nutritious recipes and snack ideas.

Founder David Woolever found it appealing to become an entrepreneur, independent author, and publisher, so he decided to go into business for himself and start his own company. By doing this, he was able to retain all of the rights to his work and have complete artistic control. He was able to accomplish all of this without having to seek out his own publishing contract, which are not only near-impossible to acquire, but would have still required him to do all of the heavy lifting when it comes to marketing and advertising.

The Law Office of E.C. Lewis, P.C. helped David from the very beginning with setting up his LLC, website, and also with advice on contacts his company would need. David said that he could not imagine starting a business without legal counsel and that Elizabeth helped with every little detail that he had not even thought of yet, or had overlooked.

David has upcoming plans for August/September for an event at the Children’s Hospital, to give away his book to patients, as well as perform a reading of the book. David is also currently in the process of putting together a film shoot based on his book, which will be much more than just a book trailer or promotion.

“Nestor’s Adventures: I Like Colorado!” is available in paperback and Kindle form on Amazon. You can check out all of Nestor’s Adventures’ products at David Woolever can also be reached via email at
