These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Law Office of E.C. Lewis, P.C. (“ECLewisPC)’s website, www.eclewis.com (the “Site”). By accessing or using this Site, you agree to these Terms of Use.

Submission of information to ECLewisPC does not prevent ECLewisPC from representing another person or entity whose interests may be adverse to yours unless ECLewisPC has agreed otherwise or applicable professional obligations require otherwise. ECLewisPC may need to conduct a conflicts review before agreeing to represent you.

ECLewisPC cannot guarantee that unsolicited information will be treated as confidential or privileged to the extent permitted by applicable professional rules and law.

Do not use the Site or unsolicited electronic communications to transmit highly sensitive or confidential information unless you have been instructed to use that method.

If online payment functionality is available, payments to ECLewisPC are governed by the applicable engagement agreement, invoice, payment instructions, and other agreements between the client and ECLewisPC.

Making an online payment does not, by itself, create an attorney-client relationship.

Client funds are handled in accordance with the applicable engagement agreement and professional obligations governing client funds and trust accounts.

Any refund of funds held in trust is subject to amounts properly earned or incurred, outstanding obligations, the applicable engagement agreement, and professional requirements.

Third-party payment processors may maintain their own terms, privacy policies, and security practices.

13. Site Availability and Security

ECLewisPC takes reasonable steps to maintain the Site but cannot guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free of malicious components.

ECLewisPC may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue portions of the Site at any time.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Subject to applicable law, any legal proceeding arising solely from the use of this Site or these Terms shall be brought in a state or federal court having jurisdiction in Denver, Colorado.
